Alexandar McQueen was a brilliant British Haute Couture fashion designer, unfortunately and tragically dead at the age of forty. His genius mind was able to create magic on a catwalk, where his Haute Couture dresses and creations were like they emerged straight from Baroque or Victorian era. His models become dark and obscure princesses and countesses.

One of his collections was inspired by the witches of Salem, which lead to sartorial exploration of witchcraft and paganism. McQueen himself had a few great-grandmothers who were victims of Salem Witch Trials.

He is also famous for his grotesque-shaped shoes, which look like high heeled hoofs.

When put on his dresses, woman enter McQueen's dreams and fantasies about glamorous and vain ladies from the lurid and occult imagination.
