John Galliano is a Haute Couture designer of magnificent mind and brilliant ideas. He worked for Dior and Givenchy, and every one of his collections and shows remained remerkable.

Galliano takes a time of history and recreates and redesigns it so that it becomes fantastically grotesque and dark. Hair and make-up in his shows are always exaggerated, pompous and theatrical. His creations are a great inspiration for movie costumes, or cosplay, as well as for all kinds of goth styles.

Galliano takes an idea (for example: Roman soldiers, or Egyptian queens, or Russian babooshkas, or Baroque countesses), and makes it super dark and scary, but undoubtedly glamorous. Woman through Galliano's eyes is always sexy and mysterious, dark and spooky. He makes her beautiful not necessarily in common sense of meaning, but in dreamy and lurid one.
